I liked the dreaminess of the images above, and wanted to try and imitate this quality in my drawings - and did so, using layers of liquin, oil paint, charcoal and spray paint.
It was important for me to preserve the contrast between light and dark that I had captured, especially due to the repeating motif of lightbulbs here, so the spray paint served to bring back the highlights into the drawing - making it look like the light bulb was illuminating the darkness.
