Here, I wanted to fill a sketchbook with complete abstraction. It was key for me to keep the visual language consistent, so I devised a set of rules to follow:
1. Any time a piece of tape meets the edge of the page, it will continue over into the next spread.
2. Each page will include at least one circle cut out, providing a glimpse into the next page.
For the sculpture below, I wanted to translate the visual language that I had created in the sketchbook into 3D - so again, you have the interplay between the circle and the square, the clashing patterns, the bold lines... 
I had a lot of fun here just experimenting and playing with colour - and I think it shows.
