It's a new beginning in the Buzzy Martin™ studios! 

I do, however, have a couple things to get off my chest so we can all truly be on the same page before the chaos begins: 

I, just like all the other fashion designers out there, am not in this gig to design clothes - no.

I am here for the afterparties, the money, the fame and the power! To have an unending sea of unpaid interns I can send to factories to pick up samples with credit cards I know don't work. To have a gorgeous Soho apartment with a bay window, a spare bedroom I never use, and a suit of armor lying on the windowsill. To unashamedly tell my Grindr hookups how much I spend on rent. To obfuscate and exaggerate for the sake of my Instagram stories. To walk into a room and just innately know that I am superior because I went to Central St. Martin's.

Darling - never mind the cashflow! Never mind anything really.

I am here to be the talk of London town. 

And I can't be the talk of the town without owning the media, can I, lovely?

Yes, it might be one of the silliest times to start a blog given the death of the written online word, but the blog needs to blog in order to build the universe (and sell the product) and blog the blog (and drive the SEO). I can't make any promises regarding longevity - but we are here now and we are all enjoying ourselves yes?

One of my friends that has been teaching me the ways of the blog and who I have to give wholehearted credit to for the pure genius of her brain is the one and only Ms. Bipasha Elizabeth Ling (we met at her FABULOUS Mooch Re-Connection Art Show.... Yar yar) Did I mention that she blogs? In fact, darling, she is one of the original FASHION bloggers. Mhm yes she is huugely powerful and influential in the space, and I am affiliated with her, and so therefore powerful and influential in my own regard.

Over my time serving as the head of the Mooch La Bel atelier, she has instilled in me some fundamental learnings I will share with you now:

BLOG = MONEY

BLOG = FAME

BLOG = POWER

As I may have mentioned, I am just here for money, fame and power. And - look at that!! - blogging seems to be that sweet sweet intersection of all three. So here I am. And there you are: reading away. The plan seems to be working.
